Strictly Entertainment is not an agency. We are experienced theatre and event producers who provide  quality entertainment to the care home sector across the UK - in particular, structured musical reminiscence variety shows, featuring stunning costume changes and a broad variety of music to suit all tastes and ages. Following years of research, it is evident that there are a wealth of entertainers available to provide music and songs to care home residents and communities but the difference in what we provide are shows that are visual as well as musically entertaining. Each themed show is a musical journey  that not only provides much enjoyment but also  a "talking point" resulting in social interaction between residents, carers and visitors alike. These acclaimed variety shows are up-lifting and provide the "feel-good" factor.

Who are Strictly Entertainment?
Everyone who works at Head Office has an extensive background within the entertainment industry with experience of touring theatres,schools and care homes, – including specialist dementia units, Memory Lane/Reminiscence Communities,  palliative care, nursing/EMI, residential and day care centres.

We are delighted to work in association with Award-Winning performer, Sadie, who tailor-makes shows for the care industry as well as the corporate events market, theatres, hotels and cruise liners. She is also an experienced primary school teacher able to offer her expertise when creating workshops and shows for the education sector.

All artists are members of Equity and are therefore fully covered by Public Liability Insurance.

Each show is packed full of variety at its very best with beautiful multiple costume changes. Music covered incorporates:- Hollywood Stars & Song - Writers, Musicals, Pop Legends, Big Band/Swing & the War Years, the Fabulous Fifties & Swingin’ Sixties – something for everyone.

 

Music acts as a therapy so it is very important to make a connection with all residents by maintaining individual, personal eye contact throughout each performance as well as allowing for those residents swept along by the music and who wish to dance and take part.
Residents associate music with important events in their lives and a wide array of emotions.

 

Here at Strictly Entertainment we tailor-make our shows to open up a doorway connection with the past through many different musical styles whilst at the same time providing safety and security through a shared musical experience. It is proven that quality entertainment reduces restlessness, eases anxiety, redirects attention and improves overall behaviour.

How do we book a show?
Our tour managers are here to help you book the right show for your home and to provide your residents with a musical selection they will enjoy. Each show lasts one hour and ten minutes and there is a pre-show set-up time of 30 minutes. Costs for the shows are kept to the bare minimum wherever you are in the UK and are therefore in high demand so please book early and in advance in order to avoid disappointment.
